Pooja Kumar has lived in the Las Vegas area for over 25 years. She was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 2013 after graduating from Albany Law School of Union University in upstate New York. While in law school, Ms. Kumar served as Executive Treasurer for the Student Bar Association and President of the South Asian Law Student Association, and she won the Moot Court Donna Jo Morse Negotiations Competition. Ms. Kumar joined Wright Finlay & Zak as an Associate in October 2018, focusing primarily on consumer finance litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kumar practiced in premises liability for three years, was Managing Attorney at a busy plaintiff personal injury law firm, and also worked in construction defect and general liability litigation. Ms. Kumar regularly practices in state and federal courts throughout Nevada. She is admitted to practice before the State Bar of Nevada, the United States District Court, District of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Kumar was named one of the 10 Best Attorneys in Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys for 2018.
