Christopher Prieto joined Wright, Finlay & Zak in 2025, bringing with him a strong academic background and diverse legal experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. During his undergraduate studies, he was recognized as a National Honor Student and graduated Summa cum laude.

Mr. Prieto went on to attend Loyola Law School, where he distinguished himself both academically and through his leadership roles. While in law school, Mr. Prieto participated in Loyola Law School’s Center for Conflict Resolution, where he helped to mediate matters relating to landlord/tenant law, debtor’s rights, and family law disputes. Mr. Prieto was also a student staffer on the Loyola International and Comparative Law review before becoming Chief Production Editor in 2022. Mr. Prieto also served as a law clerk for the California Department of justice, and interned for the Los Angeles Dependency Court, where he passionately advocated for the rights of indigent parents and families.

Following admission to the California State Bar, Mr. Prieto began his legal career at a firm practicing general civil litigation and insurance defense. At Wright, Finlay & Zak, Mr. Prieto leverages his broad experience to advocate for clients with a focus on integrity, diligence, and results-driven representation. Currently, his practice area primarily includes the areas of business and real estate litigation and transactions.
