Title Curative and Litigation Division

Wright Finlay & Zak's ("WFZ") Title Resolution and Litigation Division consists primarily of several former in-house title company claims counsel and litigation attorneys. Staffing this division with former in-house title counsel gives WFZ an edge over many other law firms which may have attorneys with adequate real estate experience, but who lack the specialized insight and experience that our title attorneys offer having worked in the title industry. In addition to an advanced understanding of real estate, escrow and title law, our seasoned attorneys also have practical knowledge that cuts to the core of a problem for a quick, cost-effective resolution.

This division handles all types of residential and commercial title issues in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii, including but not limited to:

  • Title insurance claims and coverage issues
  • Lien priority disputes
  • Quiet title actions
  • Forgeries and fraudulent conveyances
  • Title reformation actions
  • Easements, right of way and access issues
  • Title transfers and acquisition disputes
  • Legal description issues
  • Boundary and property line disputes
  • Zoning, land use and contract disputes
  • Restrictive covenants and deeds
  • Mechanics liens and lien-priority and validity disputes
  • Partition of real property
  • Adverse possession
  • Surveying errors
  • Real property ownership
  • Mobile home title issues

WFZ's Title Resolution and Litigation Division represents individuals, businesses, lenders, foreclosure trustees, loan servicers, investors and major title companies on all title, escrow and title insurance matters.
