Joan C. Spaeder-Younkin is a senior trial attorney with the Firm. Since 1997, Ms. Spaeder-Younkin has focused her legal career on consumer credit, business and real estate litigation. As a seasoned litigator, she provides clients with efficient case management, guidance through the complexities of litigation, and creative solutions in a wide range of real estate disputes, while addressing the unique needs of each client.
Ms. Spaeder-Younkin has contributed to various Link to /publicationsLink to /publicationsLink to /publicationsLink to /publicationsindustry periodicals and has authored briefs in a published foreclosure decision affecting title after a foreclosure sale was deemed void, entitled Dimock v. Emerald Properties LLC, et al, (2000) 81 Cal. App. 4th 868. She also briefed and argued the appellate case of Sanchez v. Litton Loan Servicing LP, 2010 WL 4261913, which was the companion case to the published decision of Vuki v. Superior Court, (2010) 117 Cal.Rptr.3d 86, addressing alleged violations of California Civil Code sections 2923.52 and 2923.53. Ms. Spaeder-Younkin has also briefed and argued many other various appeals involving judicial and non-judicial foreclosure issues.
Ms. Spaeder-Younkin is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of California, including all of the U.S. District Courts within the State of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Spaeder-Younkin is an active participant of CREW-Orange County, California Mortgage Association (CMA), California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA), and Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
