Robert A. Olson was admitted to the California Bar in 2007 and has been with Wright, Finlay & Zak since 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Olson held a variety of roles, including as an associate at a large international law firm, as in-house counsel with a commercial real estate developer, and as a solo practitioner. Mr. Olson’s practice focuses on transactional law, specifically real estate and general business matters, including both buyer and seller side of commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, commercial development, construction and entitlements. He regularly represents both lenders and borrowers on acquisition, construction and permanent loans and refinances and assists his clients with equity raises, joint ventures, retail, office and industrial leasing, title and survey analysis, land use matters, operating agreements, corporate formation, and a variety of other contracts.

In 2024, Mr. Olson was admitted to practice in Colorado and began working with Colorado clients as well as his long-standing California clients.
