Tyler Vance is a Senior Associate at Wright Finlay & Zak LLP, where his practice focuses on financial services, real estate, estate planning, probate, construction, and business-related matters. Tyler brings a litigation-minded approach to client representation, combining practical legal strategy with a strong understanding of dispute resolution, risk management, and client advocacy.
Tyler has experience handling civil litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial, and he is committed to helping individuals, businesses, lenders, property owners, contractors, and developers navigate complex legal issues with clarity and confidence. His practice reflects a client-focused approach, emphasizing preparation, responsiveness, and practical solutions tailored to each matter.
Tyler also assists contractors and developers in navigating the complex legal landscape of their projects and businesses, both by helping structure relationships, agreements, and practices to reduce litigation risk, and by advocating for clients when litigation becomes necessary.
Tyler earned his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara in 2013. He went on to graduate magna cum laude from Whittier Law School in 2017, with concentrations in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law. Tyler was admitted to the California Bar in December 2017. In 2018, he earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Outside of the office, Tyler is an avid Manchester United fan and, reluctantly, still follows the Los Angeles Angels. On weekends, he can often be found bowling, riding his road bike from Irvine down to the ocean through the riverbed and along Pacific Coast Highway for the scenic view, or spending time at his river house on the Parker Strip.
