Leslie G. Baird joined Wright, Finlay & Zak’s Compliance, Licensing and Regulatory Division in 2018. Her practice focuses on state and federal regulatory and compliance matters related to mortgage origination. Prior to joining Wright Finlay & Zak, Ms. Baird was an in-house counsel for a residential mortgage company in its regulatory and compliance division. Ms. Baird has extensive experience with licensing, operational compliance, and regulatory examinations throughout the country. Prior to her in-house experience, Ms. Baird clerked for the Honorable Todd Shaughnessy, Robin Reese, Elizabeth Hruby-Mills, and Katie Bernards-Goodman of the Utah Third District Court. Ms. Baird is active with the CSBS State Examination System Industry Engagement Group and the CSBS State Licensed Industry Engagement Group, and is an active member of the Utah MBA Operational and Compliance Forum. Ms. Baird is licensed to practice in Utah.
